Sugarcane milling season has arrived which begins with a ritual ceremony called Cembrengan. The ritual is carried out routinely every year by sugar factories in Karanganyar, Central Java, Indonesia.

In the ceremony several kinds of offerings were presented including buffalo heads intended to invoke the safety of the workers
